Of Tides and Sighs

It took the moon to remind me. 
large, luminous, lending its smile.
Coming 'round the corner of a thought

it hit me head on.
and shattered my Darkness
with its smile.
the shadows follow me.
the light beckons.

shall i throw off the grin
of pulling tides and
yet unspoken sighs?
